Hello! I’d like to introduce myself and tell you about my background…….I am Melanie and I love what I do……Wedding and Portrait Photography!
I studied at Cleveland College of Art & Design (now The Northern School of Art) in Middlesbrough for 5 years altogether – 2 years BTEC National Diploma in Graphic Design and 3 years B.A (HONS) in Photography. With 5 years study knowledge, many years of experience in the creative industry and 20 years knowledge and experience in administration, I decided to put everything together and build a business. I was made redundant from an administration position and took the opportunity to create something that I have had my heart set on for years!
I have been a full time photographer for nearly 12 years now and continue to update my skills and knowledge which is important in this profession.
I have a studio located on Yarm Road in Stockton which is not far from main high street.
I work very well with people of all ages and I really enjoy my studio sessions with children from newborn upwards. We have lots of fun to capture the natural shots through play.
Wedding packages can be individually created to suit your needs. Come and tell me about your ideas and we can build a package around you. I always work around you as it’s your big day!
The great thing about our full day packages is that they come with full coverage from the bride getting ready to the first dance as standard and unlimited images taken on the day with approx. 400 final edited images to choose from.
My aim is to become like a family member on your big day. Your wedding day is as important to me as it is to you, it will also fly by. My advice is let me capture the emotions as you interact with family and friends and you enjoy every moment of your wedding day.
Many of my brides and grooms forget some events of their day as it can be so jam packed but when they see their proof prints for the first time, all of those memories come flooding back and a lot of brides have cried with tears of joy and laughter!
As a trained and experienced photographer, I remember my wedding day and what I was looking for in a photographer and that was quality, customer service and personality. I am a friendly, bubbly and outgoing person who can interact with everyone of any age.
My work is natural and relaxed and many people almost forget that I’m there as I blend in with your family and friends so well that many think that I am actually a wedding guest!
I like to have a bit of fun with wedding guests, playing games with children and the images are priceless. The emotion, fun and laughter is what makes my job so great……I want to create a great experience that will be remembered for years to come and this is why I get recommended. I like to work around you and offer my advice when needed. I will do a “walk through” of the day in the weeks leading up to it all and will answer any questions that you may have.
I edit & art work all images taken during photo shoot/wedding and
design photo books and wedding albums for clients using supplier software.
